Fubo Scenic Area is located on the north bank of the Yu River, 3 kilometers southeast of Yunbiao Station and 30 kilometers from the county town. The Fubo Temple was originally built in the late Eastern Han Dynasty and renovated in the mid-Northern Song Dynasty. From south to north, it features a bell and drum tower, an archway, a front hall, an altar, a central hall, a corridor, and a rear hall. The entire architectural layout is rigorous, majestic, and solemn. Fubo Temple is the oldest and largest structure of its kind in the Pearl River basin. The temple originally covered an area of 33,330 square meters, with the current built-up area being 936.7 square meters. From south to north along the slope, it consists of seven main sections: the bell tower, the archway, the front hall, the central hall, the corridor, the altar, and the rear hall. The corridor and halls are connected by small courtyards, forming a cohesive whole that achieves an artistic effect of varied heights and contrasts between solid and void. The roof eaves and bracket sets are among the most remarkable architectural features of the temple. The wooden, stone, and plaster carvings on various columns, pedestals, beams, poles, doors, windows, and roof ridges, as well as the murals on the courtyard gables and walls, are also outstanding artistic achievements within the temple. The entire temple complex is imbued with artistic finesse. Notably, although the temple is shaded by dense foliage, a unique airflow keeps its rooftops completely free of fallen leaves year-round, leaving the tiles unusually clean and adding to its divine and majestic aura.
