Its jasmine flower production and scented tea processing account for not only 70% of the national total but also 50% of the global total. "Jasmine, such a beautiful flower..." The song "Jasmine Flower" has spread across the world, becoming a source of pride for the Chinese people. What makes the people of Guangxi even prouder is that the prestigious title of "China's Hometown of Jasmine," which evokes such vivid associations, belongs to Hengxian.

From April to November each year, the bountiful fields are adorned with pure white jasmine buds, exuding a refreshing and enchanting fragrance that overflows with the rich charm of the flower town. Jasmine flowers attract approximately 600,000 tourists to Hengxian annually. By integrating commerce and tourism, Hengxian has launched a "Jasmine Journey" from three aspects, driving the rapid development of the tourism industry.

— Cultural Tour of Jasmine Tea. Culture is the soul of tourism. Hengxian has a long history of jasmine cultivation, and the jasmine industry has become a pillar of the local economy, deeply integrated into the lives of its people. Tea culture is an elegant culture, and flower culture is also an elegant culture. Hengxian combines these two to create its unique charm of jasmine tea culture. The cultural tour focuses on the warmth, romance, and nobility of jasmine flowers, offering sweet love-themed "Mo Li" tours, jasmine tea experience tours, and festivals related to jasmine, integrating the unique culture of jasmine into travelers' journeys and providing a series of flower- and tea-themed activities and routes.

— Agricultural Eco-Leisure Tour. Hengxian boasts outstanding competitive advantages in its distinctive agricultural tourism resources, with fresh air and beautiful surroundings, making it an ideal destination for agricultural leisure tourism. The county will develop eco-agricultural sightseeing tours featuring jasmine, as well as eco-agricultural leisure tours (farm stays) centered around jasmine, organizing various leisure activities themed on jasmine, allowing visitors to fully immerse themselves in a sea of jasmine blossoms.

— Industrial Tour. Hengxian produces 60,000 tons of jasmine flowers annually, forming a distinctive local scented tea industry. Currently, the county has 186 scented tea processing enterprises, all of which have a certain scale and foundation. Among them, Southwest Tea City has become a distribution hub for tea in southern China, achieving significant scale and brand recognition. With the growing popularity and maturity of industrial tourism, Hengxian is appropriately developing a series of industrial tourism experiences under the "Jasmine Journey."

Where jasmine blooms in the flower town, merchants come from all directions. During the peak jasmine blooming season each year, merchants flock to Hengxian to process and trade scented tea, further boosting the development of related industries such as catering, transportation, and entertainment in Hengxian, while also bringing indirect economic benefits to the people of the "Flower Capital."

Through the development of the "China Jasmine Garden," the project encourages companies to involve local farmers through land shareholding, unifying efforts to grow pollution-free and organic jasmine, thereby radiating influence and promoting the healthy growth and expansion of Hengxian’s scented tea industry. It also aims to further improve the quality of jasmine flowers and organically integrate the construction and development of the comprehensive jasmine demonstration garden with jasmine production, agricultural eco-tourism, and new rural development in Hengxian, making it a model for enhancing the county’s economic development. Meanwhile, merchants and tourists can admire colorful jasmine varieties from around the world in the garden, learn about the entire process of jasmine planting, management, and processing in the county, and sample a variety of premium teas.

The "China Jasmine Garden" is located at Shijing Village Committee, Xiaoyi Town, Hengxian, at the intersection of the Nanning-Xingye Expressway exit and the secondary road leading to Hengxian County. It has a planned total area of 10,000 mu, with the core area covering 4,200 mu. Designed and built to the standards of a national-level modern agricultural science and technology demonstration park, a national AAAA-level tourist attraction, and a national-level agricultural tourism demonstration site, it is divided into six zones: the Jasmine Variety Exhibition Area, the Jasmine Amusement Area, the Jasmine Lake Ecological Wetland Sightseeing Area, the Jasmine Health and Leisure Resort Area, the Jasmine Product Processing Area, and the Jasmine Trade and Shopping Area. It integrates production, processing, research, culture, sightseeing, and tourism.
