Banxiao Ecological Tourism Area is located in Banxiao Village, Xinming Village, Xiashi Town, 12 kilometers from the city center. In recent years, the local residents of Banxiao Village have jointly developed eco-tourism. Currently, there are two natural spring swimming pools—one large and one small—covering a total area of 1,100 square meters. The water in these pools is crystal clear and remains warm in winter and cool in summer, making them some of the cleanest swimming pools that are hard to find in the city. Around the pools stand more than ten towering trees with lush green leaves that sway gently in the breeze, rustling softly as if welcoming visitors. Every summer, the area attracts a continuous stream of people coming to swim and sightsee.

Xiashi Town: Located in the northeastern part of Pingxiang City, Xiashi Town sits at the junction of Pingxiang, Ningming, and Longzhou counties (cities), which are approximately 20, 20, and 30 kilometers away respectively. National Highway 322, the Xianggui Railway, and the Nanyou Expressway all run through the town, giving it a highly strategic location.
