Situated 6 kilometers from Ningming County amid verdant hills and pristine waters, the under-construction “Huashan Hot Spring Resort” features a spring that discharges over 120 tons of water daily. The water is of outstanding quality—extensive testing of more than 50 parameters by the National Ministry of Geology and Mineral Resources, the Ministry of Health, Sun Yat-sen University of Medical Sciences in Guangzhou, and Beijing’s health inspection departments confirmed that this mineral water is a rare and precious high-quality drinking resource on an international level. As early as the 1950s, the spring was revered as “immortal water.” Locals who drank it reported recovery from various ailments, and those who bathed in it for several days emerged looking radiant and rejuvenated. In time, people from nearby counties, cities, and even Vietnam flocked here to draw water and bathe, with visitor numbers peaking at 40,000–50,000 per day. To develop this valuable resource, Ningming County invested heavily in building the Huashan Hot Spring Resort. Covering an area of 400 acres, the resort centers around hot springs and integrates sightseeing, leisure, entertainment, and recreation. Upon completion, it will offer comprehensive facilities including travel, sightseeing, dining, accommodation, entertainment, fitness, beauty treatments, medical care, recuperation, and shopping. Currently, the first phase includes a hotel, amusement center, entertainment city, massage palace, shooting range, food street, and shopping street. The second phase, featuring a villa complex, sandy beach bathing area, and water park, is currently in preparation.
