Jinbao Ethnic Yao Village

Jinbao Ethnic Yao Village is nestled in the misty Cenwanglaoshan Mountain within Jinbao Village, Sicheng Town. It sits at an altitude between 800 and 1,500 meters, with an average annual temperature of 18°C, annual rainfall of 1,718 mm, and average annual sunshine of 1,433 hours. The area enjoys a mild climate that is warm in winter and cool in summer, with abundant rainfall. It is located 12 kilometers from Lingyun County and currently has a population of over 170 people, with 32 households, primarily ethnic Yao. The village is rich in natural resources and vibrant ethnic customs. The streams running through the village are flanked by lush, towering trees, creating stunning scenery. The babbling brooks are like emerald gems set on the jade belt that marks the northwestern boundary of Cenwanglaoshan Mountain. Visitors here can not only admire the pristine ecological beauty of crisscrossing streams and fragrant flowers with birdsong, but also experience the ethnic charm of traditional villages (which have retained their rustic rural customs for many years). Additionally, you can try on locally dyed and woven ethnic Yao cloth garments, enjoy homemade rural cuisine, and truly immerse yourself in the ancient farming lifestyle.

At present, the rural tourism site has mainly carried out environmental improvements along both sides of the stream valley, including guardrail upgrades, built three new farmhouse guesthouses, paved 200 meters of roads, with total investment reaching over 3 million yuan.

In the next phase, efforts will focus on fully tapping into and integrating the abundant natural resources of the primeval forest in Cenwanglaoshan Mountain and the passionate, richly ethnic cultural landscape. Based on local conditions, the development will feature a rural tourism destination that combines stream valleys, primeval forest vegetation, and ethnic customs. With an estimated investment of 3.5 million yuan, supporting infrastructure such as public tourist toilets, rural guesthouses, folk performance venues, and walking trails will be constructed. A tourism development fund subsidy application of 2 million yuan has been submitted.
