Tongling Waterfall is located in Jingxi County, Baise, 70 kilometers from Baise City and 32 kilometers from Jingxi County town. It has become an increasingly popular attraction in Guangxi in recent years, renowned for its majestic beauty and is the waterfall with the greatest drop in China. The waterfall is 165 meters high and 30 meters wide. About 10 kilometers to the south, you can see Detian Waterfall.

Unlike other waterfalls, Tongling Waterfall is situated on the edge of a rift valley. The stream plunges down from the cliff top of the rift, forming a 130-meter-long cascade. In summer, the splashing water can reach hundreds of meters away, making it difficult for visitors to get close. In winter and spring, when you walk beneath the waterfall, you’ll find it seemingly vanishing into the ground after dramatically plummeting from the sky. After climbing over 600 steps, you can view the waterfall inside the Tongling Gorge, where you’ll also discover the area’s unique vegetation, streams, and caves, which experts have called the “Tongling Wonders.”
