Huixian Mountain

Huixian Mountain is a national AAAA-level tourist attraction.

Huixian Mountain Scenic Area: Located within Bailong Park in Yizhou City. The scenic area includes attractions such as Huixian Mountain, Bailong Cave, Baizi Rock, Snowflake Cave, Hundred-Zhang Deep Well Rock,

Alchemy Rock, Baiyun Nunnery, Wings King’s Command Platform, Martyrs’ Cemetery, Jiangbei Stone Forest, and Shangu Ancestral Temple.

In the 11th year of the Chongzhen era of the Ming Dynasty (1638), Xu Xiake entered the region for travel and investigation, exploring 37 caves and rivers including Bailong Cave and Longyin Cave. He spent 30 days on this journey, offering endless praise for the local landscapes. Upon ascending Huixian Mountain (Beishan) and overlooking the city from Snowflake Cave, he wrote, “Looking down and gazing around, both heart and eyes were stirred. Suddenly, a cool breeze slipped through the crevices, and the fragrance of orchids wafted over—no less than feeling two wings ready to take flight, and sensing the entire body had been reborn.” In 1984, Huixian Mountain Scenic Area was established as Bailong Park.
