The Old City of Beiguantao is a cultural heritage site protected at the provincial level in Shandong Province.

The Old City of Beiguantao is located in Beiguantao Town, Guanxian County, and dates back to the Sui to Qing dynasties.

On October 10, 2013, the Old City of Beiguantao was designated as part of the fourth batch of Provincial-Level Cultural Heritage Protection Units by the People's Government of Shandong Province.

Beiguantao Town: Beiguantao Town is situated in the northwest of Guanxian County, bordering Guantao County of Hebei Province across the Zhangwei River to the west, and adjacent to Yandian Town of Linqing City to the north. The town covers an area of 52 square kilometers, governs 56 administrative villages, has 50,000 mu of arable land, and a population of 32,000. The town seat, Beiguantao, was established in the second year of the Daye era during the Sui Dynasty (606 AD) and once served as the county seat.

Beiguantao Town enjoys convenient transportation, being just 5 kilometers away from the Jiliao Expressway and the Jinhan Railway. Provincial Highway 008, Houma Road, and Guanbei Road all intersect in the town.
