The local Xu family in the mountain village are descendants of Xu Xian, and "Dragon Pool Pit" has gained widespread fame through its many beautiful legends, remaining popular for over a thousand years with a constant stream of visitors, as recorded in the county annals. Sandu Shengjing boasts the wonder of mountains and rivers, with towering cliffs standing like screens. The "Green" and "White" caves are shrouded in mist, with heavenly ladders and sloping railings appearing and disappearing amid the fog. From the South Heaven Gate, one can gaze at the beautiful scenery of the Dongyang River. The numerous temples scattered throughout the scenic area feature flying eaves, flowing vermilion, carved beams, and painted rafters, all exuding an ancient and elegant beauty. Within the area lies an artificial lake covering more than 6,000 square meters, like a pearl in a fairyland. It serves as an excellent place for visitors to explore history, pay homage to ancient sages, and provide patriotic education for primary and secondary school students.
