Longshan Buddhist Realm Scenic Area

Longshan Buddhist Realm Scenic Area is located at the foot of Denglong Mountain near Taizu Cave in the southwest of Hengdian, covering an area of 980 acres. The scenic area boasts lush mountains, clear waters, and refreshing air. It was developed by Hengdian Group, combining the beautiful natural landscape of Denglong Mountain to create a site rich in Buddhist atmosphere. Major attractions in the area include the Holy Water Bridge, Arhat Mountain, the Mahavira Hall, Guanyin Pavilion, the Hundred-Step Longevity Stairway, the Three Saints Hall, Taizu Cave, and the Hanging Hall. Among them, Arhat Mountain is the most eye-catching, featuring a total of 501 life-sized arhat statues scattered throughout the scenic area, 18 of which are polychrome sculptures while the rest are all gilded. Each statue has a unique expression, is vividly lifelike, and no two are alike. It is the only open-air collection of Five Hundred Arhats in the country and also the largest such group sculpture in the world.
