The Hengdian National Defense Science and Technology Education Park consists of two main sections: the exhibition hall area and the military training area. It has been designated as a “National Defense Education and Publicity Base,” “National Defense Education Base,” “Patriotism Education Base,” “Integrity Education Base for Party Members,” “Eagle Badge Practice Base,” and “Classic Red Tourism Destination for Youth,” among others. The exhibition hall area covers a total area of 100,000 square meters, with a building area of 20,000 square meters. The scenic area fully showcases the weapons and equipment of our Party and military in the new era, as well as the development history of China’s aviation and aerospace industries. Here, you can get up close to a variety of new tanks, fighter jets, and aircraft carriers; explore the mysteries of the Shenzhou spacecraft and the Chang’e program; experience the grandeur of century military parades; and watch high-tech 360-degree immersive films that integrate the “heaven and earth.” You can also try your hand at pistol and rifle shooting, have conversations with robots, and participate in real-life laser tag CS combat games. The military training area is built against a mountain, featuring an elegant environment and complete facilities. It serves as a comprehensive training base that can accommodate 500 people for military training and outdoor development activities simultaneously. In addition to traditional team-building exercises, the base also offers new programs such as simulated amphibious island assault. It is an excellent venue for youths and the militia reserve to undergo military training, a great place for schools and youth centers to hold summer and winter camps, and a perfect destination for corporate teams to engage in team-building activities.
