Jiulong Grand Canyon is located at the foot of Jiulong Peak on the southern side of Bamianshan Mountain in Hengdian, covering an area of over 3,000 acres of mountainous land. The scenic area is built along the mountain and designed according to the terrain. Both the dragon head and body are constructed from reinforced concrete, named after the “Five Elements” theory of ancient China — “Metal, Wood, Water, Fire, Earth” — and the cardinal directions “East, South, West, North.”

Nine giant dragons form the entire grand canyon. The heads of the nine dragons range in height from 22 to 35 meters and in length from 150 to 400 meters, each with a unique expression as they appear to swim through the nine great canyons. The nine dragons can stand as individual scenic highlights or be interconnected via walking paths, forming a continuous dragon trail. Inside the dragon bodies, there are displays on historical culture, geography, ocean knowledge, and mythological stories, as well as a wide range of interactive activities such as slide cars and entertainment shows. This is a unique cultural-natural attraction where man-made sights blend seamlessly with natural landscapes, combining educational value, visual appeal, fun, and interactivity.
