The ancient buildings are located within Lixi Village. The village has an eastern entrance, featuring an eight-character shaped gate wall and a wooden gatehouse. Major structures include the Genglou, Jiqingtang, and the Li Clan Ancestral Hall. Genglou is a three-bay, double-eaved building, rebuilt during the Qing Dynasty. Jiqingtang was built during the Hongzhi and Zhengde eras of the Ming Dynasty. Originally there were ten such halls, but three remain, arranged in a row. All feature a traditional three-courtyard layout. The central hall is a single-eaved three-bay structure with two additional two-story side rooms. The central hall uses robust materials and exhibits exquisite construction. Its brackets, beam frames, doors, windows, pedestals, and column bases all reflect the architectural style characteristics of the mid-Ming period. In particular, the well-preserved doors and window decorations are rare physical remnants of architecture from that era. The ancestral hall is located north of Jiqingtang, with three courtyards front to back, rebuilt during the Qing Dynasty.
