Features: Facing east and situated westward, it consists of a front hall, rear hall, and wing rooms on both sides, divided into two courtyards with thirteen bays each at the front and rear. A cobblestone lane runs between the two courtyards, connected by corridor wings, commonly known as the "Twenty-character Lane." Shendehall is luxuriously decorated with carvings all over. The wooden carvings feature themes from dramatic storylines, with rich imagery and distinctive characteristics. It is hailed as a "solidified theater stage," providing reliable physical historical material for the study of the development of Chinese opera, and holds extremely high value for appreciation and research.

On January 13, 2017, it was announced by the People's Government of Zhejiang Province as part of the seventh batch of Zhejiang Provincial Cultural Relic Protection Units.

The town administers three management areas and 47 administrative villages, with a total population of 30,684 and an area of 96 square kilometers.
