Cai Xitao’s Former Residence is a Zhejiang Provincial Cultural Heritage Unit.

The former residence of Cai Xitao is located in Hulü Town, Dongyang City, dating back to the Republican era.

On January 13, 2017, it was designated as part of the Seventh Batch of Zhejiang Provincial Cultural Heritage Units by the People's Government of Zhejiang Province.

Hulü Town: Hulü Town is situated in the northeastern part of Dongyang City. Its name comes from two peaks, Tiger Peak (Hufeng) and Deer Peak (Lufeng), which face each other across a stream within the town. The town administers three management districts and 47 administrative villages, with a total population of 30,684 and an area of 96 square kilometers. Both the Dong-Sheng Highway and the under-construction Yong-Jin Expressway run through the town. There is also an interchange located in CaiZhai Village within the town, making transportation very convenient. The town is home to Dongbai Mountain, the highest peak in the city at 1,195 meters above sea level, as well as the Dongfanghong Reservoir, the third largest reservoir in Dongyang City.
