Yangzhou Longshan Scenic Area

The Longshan Scenic Area is located in the northwest of Qingshan Town and is the best-preserved pristine ecological area in the Yangzhou region. The scenic area boasts beautiful landscapes and lush vegetation, featuring over 6,000 acres of diverse plants including peach orchards, pear orchards, vineyards, bamboo forests, and maple woods, creating richly varied mountain scenery throughout the four seasons. A 200-meter-long cement path leads from the entrance directly to the natural bathing beach, which covers an area of over 3,000 square meters and officially opened to the public in 1999. The first phase of the Longshan Resort, completed and opened in 2000, spans 20 acres and has initially completed the construction of guest rooms, a restaurant, and meeting rooms. The second phase will invest an additional 1.6 million yuan to further expand the scale of guest rooms, add recreational facilities, and improve supporting infrastructure, ultimately forming a fully equipped leisure and entertainment center that integrates dining, guest rooms, meeting rooms, and more.

There are few mountains in northern Jiangsu. The closest range to the Yangtze River in the lower reaches is Longshan in Yizheng. It runs from east to west and is part of the Shugang Mountain range. Low and gently undulating, it borders Luhe District of Nanjing to the west and neighbors the world-renowned chemical fiber raw material production base—Yizheng Chemical Fiber Company—to the east. At the foot of the mountain lies Qingshan Town, where Yizheng City’s traditional industrial zone is located.
