Yizheng Dizang Temple is a cultural tourism attraction.

Dizang Temple is located in the southern part of Chenji Town, known as the "Little Yangzhou of Western Hills." It was first built during the Tang Dynasty, destroyed during the wars of the Five Dynasties and Ten Kingdoms period, rebuilt in the Song Dynasty, and then ruined again in the Song-Yuan conflicts. It was reconstructed again in the early Ming Dynasty and came under the administration of Jiuhua Mountain. In the late Qing Dynasty, Master Lai Guo from Yangzhou’s Gaohuang Temple came here to preach, and a statue of the Hidden Body of Kṣitigarbha was created. The temple was later listed as a subordinate site of Gaohuang Temple, but was destroyed during the wars. In 1939, Buddhist devotees such as Bencheng initiated the restoration of this ancient temple, raising funds to rebuild Dizang Temple. They constructed the Mahavira Hall and sixteen monk quarters, which were later destroyed during the campaign to eliminate the "Four Olds."

In 2002, under the support of local devotees, Master Juexi relocated the temple to the孔雀山 Park within the Chenji Tourism Planning Area and began reconstructing Dizang Temple. The planned site spans 30 acres and includes structures such as the Mahavira Hall, Heavenly King Hall, Guanyin Hall, Scripture Depository, Stupa, Bell Tower, Drum Tower, Liberation Pond, and auxiliary halls.孔雀山 Park is located about one li south of Chenji Street. Legend has it that peacocks once nested here. The area is shaded by lush trees, with winding paths leading to serene spots and pleasant scenery. To the southeast of the mountain lies the Shendun Site, an ancient cultural relic from the Shang and Zhou dynasties. Ruan Yuan, a prominent official of the Qing Qianlong, Jiaqing, and Daoguang eras who served as Grand Secretary of the Tiren Hall and Vice Tutor to the Heir Apparent, once built the Tianhou Palace, Tianhou Tower, and Xishan Jiude Shrine on the western side of the mountain. To the south of the mountain is a large pond called Dayibi Pond, covering over 30 acres, with a small island-like mound in the center. During heavy summer rains, the pond floods extensively, creating a misty scene where mountain and water views blend into a uniquely beautiful landscape. Currently, Dizang Temple has completed the construction of the Heavenly King Hall, Guanyin Hall, Abbot’s Quarters, and monk quarters, gradually restoring its former appearance.
