Hongze Lake Wetland Scenic Area is a national AAAAA-level tourist attraction.

Hongze Lake Wetland Park, a national AAAA-level tourist attraction and one of China’s Top Ten Eco-Leisure Bases, is a comprehensive destination developed by Sihong County that leverages the resource advantages of the Hongze Lake Wetland National Nature Reserve. It integrates eco-leisure, sightseeing, and science education. The park currently includes a multimedia exhibition hall, a wetland ecological museum, an Ancient Sizhou Cultural Museum, a wetland aquarium, a wetland landscape 3D cinema hall, a Lotus Grand View Garden, a Thousand Lotuses Garden, a fish breeding center, a boat dock, a waterwheel experience area, a fishing center, a wetland reed maze, a premium lotus pond, and a themed cultural wall. Recreational facilities such as water tennis courts, beach volleyball courts, a golf driving range, and a water sports center have also been built. Supporting services include the Jinshui Mountain Villa Resort, a visitor service center, and a wetland management center. The scenic area boasts vast lakes, expansive fields, fragrant lotus gardens, winding bridges, deep reed marshes, and the chorus of hundreds of birds, offering visitors the feeling of stepping into an idyllic, pristine nature painting. In 2009, the wetland park was rated as a national AAAA-level tourist attraction and was honored as a Demonstration Site of the Shanghai Expo Journey in the Yangtze River Delta. In 2010, it received recognition as an Outstanding Tourist Attraction in Suqian City, a Provincial Model Unit for Assured Consumption, and was designated as a Jiangsu Province Self-Drive Tourism Base and a Jiangsu Province Photography Base.
