The Shuanggou Liquor Industry Cultural Tourism Area is a national AAAA-level tourist attraction.

The Shuanggou Liquor Industry Cultural Tourism Area is located in the ancient brewing town of Suqian, known as the capital of liquor. Attractions include the 1955 Memorial Park, the 24-span continuous brewing workshop, the packaging and logistics center, and Drunken Ape Island. The site borders 750,000 acres of Hongze Lake Wetland to the east and the Huai River to the south, with a relative humidity of 80%, and is hailed as a “distillery built on wetlands.” The discovery of the Shuanggou Pithecus fossil in 1977 confirmed that the Shuanggou area is endowed with a natural environment ideal for brewing and is also considered the birthplace of natural wine. The base covers an overall area of about 2.8 square kilometers, including seven functional zones: traditional koji-making and brewing facilities in the old and new areas, packaging and logistics, and a liquor culture tourism center. The area is especially characterized by its focus on pristine ecology and the Drunken Ape culture. Visit Shuanggou to taste ecological Jiangsu liquor and explore the origin of natural wine.
