The Wild Boar Forest Resort was built in November 2011 and invested in by Suqian Rongtian Ecological Agriculture Co., Ltd. The resort is located in Gubei Village, Chenwei Township, Sihong County—a scenic area at the intersection of Wetland Avenue and Provincial Highway 330. It lies 4.5 kilometers from the Hongze Lake National Wetland Reserve and covers an area of over 1,460 acres. The overall plan focuses on ecological leisure vacations, integrating fruit picking, fishing, dining, amusement, and sightseeing into one large-scale resort complex.

The resort is divided into five major functional areas: the fruit tree planting demonstration area mainly features vineyards, pear orchards, peach orchards, pomegranate orchards, cherry orchards, and jujube orchards; the fishing center offers species such as koi, channel catfish, and silver crucian carp; the zoo houses over 30 kinds of rare animals including peacocks, macaques, Siberian tigers, African lions, ostriches, black bears, sika deer, and wild boars; the dining area serves distinctive farm-style home-cooked dishes that bring out an authentic rural atmosphere; the water park provides recreational activities such as electric boats, aqua bikes, and water polo.
