Hongze Lake Wetland Bird Watching Park is a National AAA-level Tourist Attraction and a Jiangsu Provincial Cultural Relics Protection Unit.

Hongze Lake Wetland Bird Watching Park (National AAA-level Scenic Area): Located in Forest Farm No. 4, Chengtou Township, Sihong County, it covers an area of 1,380 hectares. The park features dense forests with over 110 plant species and approximately 194 bird species. Birds are predominantly herons, especially cattle egrets, pond herons, grey herons, and little egrets. During peak bird inhabitation seasons, the number can reach hundreds of thousands, creating a spectacular scene. It has been designated by Jiangsu Province as a “Youth Bird-Loving and Conservation Education Base” and is also a nationally renowned heron photography destination, a paradise for photographers. The site preserves the original ecological features of the wetland forest well, offering lush woods, fresh air, crystal-clear lake water, birdsong, and rich natural charm. It is a lakeside forest park integrating forest sightseeing, conference tourism, leisure vacations, and participatory entertainment.
