The Shuanggou Site is a cultural tourism attraction.

The Shuanggou Site is located within the old compound of the Shuanggou Distillery in Shuanggou Town, Sihong County, bordered by Zhongda Street to the east and close to the Huai River to the south. In August 2017, commissioned by Jiangsu Shuanggou Liquor Co., Ltd. and with approval from the Jiangsu Provincial Cultural Relics Bureau, the Suqian Museum conducted an archaeological survey on parts of the former distillery site. A brick-and-stone building site was discovered, along with collected fragments of porcelain, bricks, tiles, pottery (sand jar body), and glass bottles. The structure is preliminarily dated to the late Ming or early Qing dynasty. This finding aligns with historical records stating that “Shuanggou Liquor Industry was founded in 1732 (the 10th year of the Yongzheng reign of the Qing Dynasty),” and may represent the former site of Quande Distillery, the predecessor of Shuanggou Distillery. It provides valuable physical evidence for researching the history of Shuanggou Distillery and conducting studies on the preservation of industrial heritage.

Shuanggou Town: In 2020, the former Shuanggou Town, Sihexiang Township, and Fengshan Township were merged to form the new Shuanggou Town. The administrative area of the new town consists of the combined areas of the former Shuanggou Town, Sihexiang, and Fengshan Township. The town government is located within Tangnan Residents' Committee, with its office at No. 1 Bimin Road, Shuanggou Industrial Park.

The administrative area of Shuanggou Town covers 193.51 square kilometers, with a population of 102,100, and governs 16 residents' committees and 21 village committees.
