Jinsha Lake Tourist Resort

Jinsha Lake Tourist Resort is a national AAAA-level tourist attraction and a national water conservancy scenic area.

Jinsha Lake is located to the south of Funing County in Jiangsu Province, 1.5 kilometers from the main urban area of the county. The scenic area covers a planned area of 22.61 square kilometers, including a core zone of 8.09 square kilometers and a current water area of 5.8 square kilometers.

The resort now houses China’s largest freshwater sandy beach, the only joyous sand sliding field in East China, the largest sand sculpture art park in the Yangtze River Delta region, and Jiangsu’s largest ice and snow dream kingdom. Utilizing its sandy water resources, it has developed recreational activities such as beach soccer, beach volleyball, sand painting performances, beach motorcycles, electric boats, dragon boats, and kayaking. In 2012, it was approved as a “Jiangsu Provincial Tourist Resort,” successfully earned its national AAAA-level status in 2013, and was voted one of “Jiangsu’s Top Ten Summer Resorts” by netizens in 2014.
