Jingjiang Martyrs' Cemetery is a cultural tourism attraction and a classic red tourism site.

Jingjiang Martyrs' Cemetery is located at the western foot of Gushan Mountain in Gushan Town, Jingjiang City, covering a total area of 107 mu, including the Western Mountain Commemorative Area (22 mu), the Eastern Mountain Nursery Base (24 mu), and mountainous land (64 mu). The Western Mountain Commemorative Area consists of five main parts: the front square, the front hall, the memorial walkway, the monument, and the memorial hall. The front square spans 300 square meters and is very spacious, dedicated to parking for visitors and mourners as well as gatherings. The front hall has three dark red doors leading into the cemetery. Above the hall is an inscription reading "Jingjiang Martyrs' Cemetery," written by Jiang Weiqing, former Secretary of the Jiangsu Provincial Committee. The hall covers an area of 114 square meters. Passing through the front hall, you will find a tree-lined memorial walkway. The walkway, built with cement slabs, is 8 meters wide and 150 meters long. At the end of the walkway stands the Revolutionary Martyrs Monument, constructed from granite. The monument base measures 6 meters in both length and width, and the monument itself rises 6.6 meters high, inscribed with the gilded words "Eternal Glory to the Revolutionary Martyrs," reproduced from the handwriting of former Premier Zhou Enlai. Walking about 20 meters around the monument, you will reach the solemn, elegant, and magnificent Revolutionary Martyrs Memorial Hall. The hall features a timber-frame structure with upturned eaves, carved beams, painted rafters, green walls, and black tiles, resembling a Ming Dynasty-style palace built along the mountainside. The hall interior covers an area of 540 square meters. Stepping up the granite steps, you will see a plaque inscribed with the bold, golden characters "Majestic as the Mountains and Rivers," written by Zhang Aiping, former Minister of National Defense. In front of the hall is a platform surrounded by granite railings, providing a resting spot for visitors. The hall contains 13 rooms, divided into one large room and four smaller ones, arranged in a concave shape. The large room displays 34 inscriptions from central and local leaders, including Ye Jianying and Zeng Tao. The smaller rooms feature portraits of the martyrs and brief accounts of their deeds.

Gushan Town: Gushan Town is situated on the northern bank of the lower Yangtze River, in the northern suburbs of Jingjiang City, the southern gateway of Taizhou City, Jiangsu Province. It is a central market town within Jingjiang's mid-section economic zone. The town is traversed by the provincial Jiangba Highway running from north to south, and the Shixu traffic port flows through the entire town. The national railway artery — the Xinchang Railway — passes to the east of the town. It takes just over an hour to drive to Nanjing or Shanghai via the Jiangyin Yangtze River Bridge, making the area easily accessible by both land and water, with naturally superior conditions.
