The China Mushroom Museum serves as a science education base.

The China Mushroom Museum, located in Fengxian Modern Agriculture Park in Shanghai, has a total exhibition area of nearly 3,000 square meters. It houses three sub-museums: the Science Museum of Mushrooms, the History Museum of Mushrooms, and the Folk Art Museum of Mushrooms.

The museum is divided into indoor and outdoor sections. The indoor area originally featured the "Science Museum," "History Museum," "Folk Museum," and "Industry Museum," while the outdoor section is the "Mushroom Garden." The indoor exhibits use various display methods such as physical objects, specimens, images, videos, animations, etc., to introduce mushroom science knowledge, historical culture, industrial development, social life, and more, integrating scientific, educational, and entertaining elements. The outdoor section showcases mushroom cultivation, offering the public opportunities for on-site observation, hands-on making, and harvesting, combining experience, interaction, and fun.
