The Bay Women's Militia Outpost serves as a patriotic education base.

Established in October 1986, it is located at the intersection of Jinhuitang Road in the tourist area, covering a total area of 1.5 mu with a building area of 550 square meters. The exhibition facilities include an honor room, sentry dormitories, a lookout room, and more, with eight tour guides. Its primary duties involve maritime and aerial surveillance at the mouth of the Jinhui Port and participation in local spiritual civilization initiatives, strengthening both internal quality and external image. In 2006, the outpost was awarded the honorary title of "National March 8th Red Banner Collective" by the All-China Women's Federation. Through years of effort, the outpost has become a comprehensive "military-civilian co-construction" site integrating national defense education, kite flying, military sports recreation, and sightseeing tourism. The outpost militia frequently conduct various forms of national defense education, using drills, martial arts routines, and light weapon demonstrations to enhance awareness of national defense. They also lead students in military training to promote national defense and patriotic education. Utilizing one honor room, a documentary about the women militia of the outpost, and one lookout room, the outpost receives over 10,000 young visitors annually.
