Shanghai’s Huami Zhuanghang Scenic Area boasts the city’s largest and most concentrated rapeseed flower fields and is a great place for spring outings and experiencing farm life. With the countryside as its stage, pristine pastoral beauty as its core, and folk culture as its soul, the area hosts seasonal festivals year-round, forming a rural tourism “four-season song” of “admiring rapeseed flowers in spring, enjoying summer mutton feasts, tasting newly harvested rice in autumn, and watching folk performances in winter,” making it one of the most enchanting landscapes on the outskirts of Shanghai.

Huami Zhuanghang is located in Zhuanghang Town, Fengxian District, approximately 50 kilometers from downtown Shanghai. The scenic area is divided into eastern and western functional zones along the main axis of Zhuangliang Road. The eastern part includes the Tourism Reception Center, Rural Food Square, Shanghai Farmhouse, and Folk Culture Area, serving as a supporting service zone mainly for dining, accommodation, and shopping. The western part features the Golden Sightseeing Avenue, Qianshe Imagery, Sunshine Tea Room, Pastoral Tea Bar, and Caiyou Garden, functioning as a golden sightseeing farm focused on agricultural leisure experiences.

The scenic area is structured along the main axis of Zhuangliang Road, dividing it into eastern and western functional zones. The eastern section, anchored by the Tourism Reception Center, Rural Food Square, Shanghai Farmhouse, and Folk Culture Area, forms a supporting service zone centered on dining, accommodation, and shopping. The western section, highlighted by the Golden Sightseeing Avenue, Qianshe Imagery, Sunshine Tea Room, Pastoral Tea Bar, and Caiyou Garden, creates a golden sightseeing farm primarily dedicated to agricultural leisure experiences.

Zhuanghang Town: Zhuanghang Town in Fengxian District, Shanghai, was established in November 2003 with the approval of the Shanghai Municipal People’s Government through the merger of former Wujiaqiao Town and former Zhuanghang Town—known as the “merger of two into one.” Located due south of Shanghai and bordering Hangzhou Bay, it sits about 50 kilometers from the city center. The town covers an area of 69.4 square kilometers, comprises 31 administrative villages and 3 residential communities, and has a total population of around 60,000. In 2004 and 2005, it was designated respectively as a “Shanghai First-Class Sanitary Town” and a “Shanghai Civilized Town.”
