Danqinghe National Forest Park is located 45 kilometers north of Yilan County, covering an area of 2,850 acres. It boasts convenient transportation, unique natural landscapes, rich cultural attractions, pleasant scenery, and beautiful views. From the mountaintop, you can gaze down at the unfathomably deep cliffs and steep precipices, an exceptionally rugged sight. In the distance, the Songhua River winds like a jade ribbon around the mountains. The park also preserves historical sites related to the Anti-Japanese United Army, such as the Shikuai Stone Resistance Base ruins, Resistance Base well, and martyrs’ cemetery, which have been designated as patriotic education bases.
