Danqinghe Scenic Area

Danqinghe Scenic Area was designated as a provincial-level scenic spot by the provincial government in 1989. The area centers around the Balan River, extending 80 kilometers in depth with a total area of 460 square kilometers.

Danqinghe Scenic Area features attractions including the Pillar Left by the Goddess Mending the Sky, Red Cliffs and Flying Glow, Three-Ring Cave, Star Stones Listening to the Waves, Nine Goddess Peaks, Iron Ridge Pines, Eagle Rock, Eight Immortals Drunk Under the Moon, Valley Spring in Silence, Danqing Waterfall, Rose Valley, Butterfly Valley, Sun and Moon in Shared Glory, Moon Peak, Camel Peak, Heaven’s Crack, Moon Gate, Goat Peak, Ancient Mountain Cave, Dragon Pool Spring, Tiger’s Mouth, and Turtle Playing on the Summit. With its majestic mountains, unique waters, and peculiar rock formations amidst dense forests, it makes for an excellent destination for sightseeing and exploration.

Transportation by Bus: Take a bus from Harbin to Yilan County, then transfer to another bus or take a taxi to reach the scenic area.

Self-Drive Route: Starting from Harbin, take the Harbin-Dongning Expressway, drive 252.1 km and exit at the Yilan Entrance of Mudanjiang Bridge. Turn left onto S308, go straight and take the first exit to turn right onto Tongjiang Road—Nanba Street—Wuguocheng Road for 3.4 km, then make a slight right turn onto S101 and drive 3.7 km. Enter Yilan Tourist Highway and drive 8.9 km to arrive at the destination.
