Harbin Jinhe Bay Wetland Botanical Garden

Jinhe Bay is a wetland park that integrates wetland ecology and sandy beaches, and serves as a model demonstration area for water ecological conservation and restoration in Harbin.

The wetland botanical garden is surrounded by water on three sides, with interconnected rivers and lakes, linked waterways, and diverse habitats. It boasts a rich diversity of species. Thanks to artificial support measures and natural succession, over 240 species of terrestrial, psammophytic, hygrophilous, and aquatic plants have been restored, including more than ten types of rare plants such as wild soybean, wild leek, water lily, mulberry, sacred willow, and alder. It also features typical plant communities such as a hundred-mu tussock marsh, a thousand-meter willow corridor, ten-thousand-meter lotus fields, and wetland grasses like reeds and feathergrass interwoven along the waterbanks and among the trees.

The area includes one island (Ruyi Island), two beaches (Golden Sand Beach and Silver Sand Beach), three mounds (Mulberry Mound, Mountain Cherry Mound, and Hawthorn Mound), four gardens (Herb Garden, Flower Garden, Fruit Garden, and Form Garden), five small connected pools, six islets (Egret Islet, River Gull Islet, Wild Duck Islet, Mandarin Duck Islet, Wild Goose Islet, and Swan Islet), as well as six water-friendly plazas: Nature Plaza, Rhythm of Water Plaza, Golden Toad Plaza, Sandy Plaza, Wish Plaza, and Anchor Plaza. There are also ten main pavilions: Leshui Pavilion, Shangshan Pavilion, Xiaoyao Pavilion, Guanlan Pavilion, Quanxue Pavilion, Manyuan Pavilion, Jianai Pavilion, Shixing Pavilion, Datiping Pavilion, and Dayu Pavilion. Other attractions include Tianchi (Heavenly Lake), a lawn wedding forest, and a wild bathing beach. Visitors can also take boat tours around Yangming Beach.

Location: Diting Road, Songbei District, Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province (between the Fourth Ring Road and the Third Ring Bridge).

By public transport: Take bus routes 13, 88, 122, etc. within Harbin city to reach the site.

By car: Drive along the Songhua River Highway Bridge → Municipal Government → Jiangwan Road → in the direction of Sifangtai Bridge for 5 kilometers.
