Wudao Huoluo Film and Television Base

Wudao Huoluo Film and Television Base is located in the western part of Heihe, 3.5 kilometers from the city center, south of the main channel of the Heilongjiang River, and faces Blagoveshchensk, Russia, across the river. With its lush mountains and beautiful waters, the area offers pleasant scenery and serves as an ideal destination for tourism, vacationing, and summer retreats. The resort area spans a total planned area of 2.14 square kilometers and is divided into six functional zones: Fengliu Island Film and Television Base, Historical Relics Museum, Villa Area, Botanical Garden, Zoo, and Ski Resort.

Fengliu Island, originally named Wudao He Luo Island, lies along the Heilongjiang River to the north, surrounded by water on all sides and backed by mountains on three, facing the city of Blagoveshchensk, Russia, across the river. The island is 960 meters long and 120 meters wide, covering a total area of 121,000 square meters. Since 1996, with an investment of over 8 million yuan, it has been initially developed into a film and television base that reflects the ethnic characteristics of Northeast China, Eurasian cultural features, northern black soil culture, and northern ice and snow culture. Various institutions, including China Central Television and Beijing Film Studio, have used the island’s natural and cultural landscapes to produce films and TV dramas.

There are currently 54 various types of buildings on the island, with a total construction area of 5,800 square meters. A Russian Street has been built, featuring representative structures such as a church, European-style wooden houses, a comprehensive entertainment complex, a bathhouse, and Tanya Restaurant. There is also an Aihui Ancient City Street, reflecting the features of northern ethnic minorities and the historic city of Aihui, with buildings including the Aihui Governor's Office, Kuixing Pavilion, Grand Theater, Mohe Mining Bureau, and Manchu residences.
