Nenjiang Park is located on the banks of the Nenjiang River in the southwestern part of Qiqihar City, the hometown of red-crowned cranes. It was first built in 1993 and officially opened to the public in 1996. Stretching from Yingbin Bridge in the east to the “Hulutou” river embankment in the west, overlooking Tongjiang Road to the south and bordering Huxi Road to the north, it is a cultural and recreational venue primarily dedicated to sightseeing, entertainment, and commercial services. It is one of the larger open parks in Qiqihar City. The park covers a total area of 32.88 hectares (including 10 hectares of water surface) and features over 30 species of trees, totaling nearly 10,000 trees.

Nenjiang Park is mainly divided into four scenic areas. The first is the Riverside Scenic Area, also the center of the park, covering an area of 5.9 hectares. This area features the 25-meter-high Flood Control Victory Memorial Tower as its centerpiece, with twelve zodiac animal sculptures arranged as complementary features in the green spaces to the north and south, aligned along the tower’s central axis. The second area is the Water Recreation Zone, centered around the lake, offering activities such as fishing and boating. The third area is the Commercial Service Zone, extending from the pedestrian bridge to the Three-Arch Bridge, providing dining options for visitors. The fourth area is the Fishing Zone, offering fishing spots for enthusiasts.

Nestled by the river and overlooking the lake, Nenjiang Park features willows swaying along the shore and shimmering waters, making it an ideal destination for leisure and vacation.
