Divine Turtle Crossing Scenic Area

Divine Turtle Crossing is the last scenic area in the front section. This area includes eight attractions: Earth Warehouse, Sky-Shading Palm, Bear King Hall, Divine Turtle Peak, Mysterious Valley, Playful Bears, Twin Stone Gates, and Dragon Spring. This scenic area faces Xianweng Peak from afar and connects to “Azaleas Dyed with Love.” Divine Turtle Peak is the highest point in this area, standing at an elevation of 370 meters. The peak is higher on the south side and lower on the north, resembling a mountain turtle struggling to climb. It is clearly visible from several miles away in both the west and east directions. Especially during the early morning when the valley is shrouded in mist, the image of the turtle comes vividly to life.

On both the eastern and western sides of Divine Turtle Peak, beneath the cliffs, there are rugged rocks, dense thickets, and ancient vines, forming a typical tiao shi tang (jumping stone pond) landform. To one side is Heixia Gully, which contains attractions such as Earth Warehouse, Sky-Shading Palm, and Bear King Hall; to the other side is Mysterious Valley, flanked by steep cliffs on both walls. Entering the valley from the upper mouth and descending about 70 meters, the mountain ridges on both sides break apart, forming a pair of naturally aligned stone gates — these are the “Twin Stone Gates.” Directly in the middle, parallel to the Twin Stone Gates, lies the “Dragon Spring.” The valley is shaded and secluded, deep and quiet, giving visitors a sense of eeriness and fear. However, upon exiting through the gates, sunlight suddenly bursts forth, and the surroundings open up dramatically.
