Wolong Lake Water Conservancy Scenic Area is a national water conservancy scenic area.

Wolong Lake Water Conservancy Scenic Area is located in Tangwanghe District, Yichun City, Heilongjiang Province. It is built along the Tangwang River, the largest river in the Xiaoxing’an Mountains, and Shilin Reservoir.

The scenic area is a reservoir-type water conservancy park, covering an area of 190 square kilometers. It features mountainous valleys, with a long, narrow reservoir and winding shorelines. The harmonious blend of mountains and water, along with the reflections of forests on the lake, forms a picturesque natural landscape. The area boasts well-preserved vegetation, with diverse landscape resources such as biological habitats, water bodies, snow and ice formations, and logged areas complementing each other beautifully, offering excellent overall synergy. The ecological environment here is pristine, rich in flora and fauna, and home to numerous nationally protected animal species and rare plants, making it highly promising for eco-tourism development. The district government places great emphasis on ecological protection and scenic area management. In recent years, it has invested nearly 500 million yuan in development, bringing the scenic area to an initial stage of completion. It has been included in Yichun City’s overall tourism plan and serves as a key node.
