Site of LaoKa No. 1

The Site of LaoKa No. 1 is a cultural heritage protection unit of Heilongjiang Province.

The Site of LaoKa No. 1 is located approximately 200 meters northwest of LaoKa Village, Sanka Township, on the second terrace along the right bank of the Heilongjiang River. Dating from the Paleolithic to the Neolithic Age, it is classified as an ancient site.

On December 29, 1990, the Site of LaoKa No. 1 was designated as part of the third batch of cultural heritage protection units in Heilongjiang Province.

Sanka Township: A township under the jurisdiction of Huma County. It served as the seat of Huma District in 1949, became Sanka Township in 1956, was reorganized as a commune in 1958, and reinstated as a township in 1984. Located in the southeastern part of the county on the western bank of the Heilongjiang River, it lies 66 kilometers from the county seat. Covering an area of 1,790 square kilometers with a population of 4,000, it is traversed by the Heimo Highway and has a river port on the riverbank, serving as the southern gateway of the county. The township administers 11 village committees: Tuanjie, Yanjiang, Kuanhe, Qingsong, Laodao, Sanka, Fanrong, Xingshan, Heishantou, YaoKa, and Jiangwan. The area hosts farms and forestry stations.
