Martyrs' Cemetery in Zhangjia Village, Liunan Township

The Martyrs' Cemetery in Zhangjia Village, Liunan Township, is situated approximately 100 meters south of Zhangjia Village in Liunan Township, Liuhe County. The building occupies an area of 1,740 square meters, and the protected area

spans 1,740 square meters.

In October 2009, it was jointly funded by the township government and the Civil Affairs Bureau. The newly constructed cemetery added perimeter walls to the original site and carried out new landscaping. The cemetery is divided into two levels: the upper section features nine cement steps, a memorial monument, and two martyrs’ tombs, while the lower section includes a small plaza covering about 700 square meters. The cemetery commemorates two soldiers from the Northeast Democratic Allied Army who were killed during the Liberation War when their marching troops were strafed by Nationalist aircraft. They were later buried by local residents in Zhangjia Village, Liunan Township.
