The site is situated on a hill on the east bank of Weisha River in the town government area of Dayi Mountain Township, about 40 kilometers northwest of Chaoyang Town, the county seat. The hill extends from southeast to northwest, spanning over 1,800 meters in length. To the northeast of the hill lies HANJIAGOU, while to the southwest it borders directly on the Weisha River. The river meanders from the southeast corner of the site toward the northwest, eventually flowing into SANTONG River via YANGZI哨. Across the river lies the widely known Dayi Mountain, one of the volcanic vents of the Longgang Volcanic Group. Its shape is unique, rising abruptly from the ground like a giant armchair standing on the west bank of the Weisha River. The hill where the site is located has flat terrain, fertile soil, abundant water sources, and wide views, making it an ideal place for human labor and habitation.
