The Huinan Red Tourism Scenic Area is a classic red tourism destination.

The Huinan Red Tourism Scenic Area includes Sumigou Township and Gongji Township, located 10 kilometers east of Huadian City, covering a total area of 881.6 square kilometers. The township administers 40 villages, 201 natural hamlets, and has a population of 86,000. Major historical sites in the scenic area include: three anti-Japanese guerrilla secret camps in Cuocao Dongxinggou, two anti-Japanese guerrilla secret camps north of Zhangjia Tun in Wangjiadian Village, battle sites in Huannan Township, Guanmen Lagou Battle Site, Gonglangtou Mountain Battle Site, the Southwest Fork Meeting Site, the Huanan Martyrs' Cemetery, the Changqing Martyrs' Cemetery (also known as the Jiuxing Martyrs' Cemetery), and others.

Gongji Township: Located on the foothills of the Changbai Mountains and beside the Huifa River, Gongji Township is situated 13 kilometers east of Huadian City. It is surrounded by water on three sides, with the Changqing Highway running east-west through it and the Yanbai Railway passing through the area. With well-connected railways and roads, transportation is extremely convenient.

Gongji Township spans an area of 521 square kilometers and has 6,738 hectares of arable land. It is a hilly mountainous region with scattered farmer residences, making it the only township in the province with a dispersed rural population.

Gongji Township administers 24 villages, 1 street, 141 hamlets, and 169 production teams. It has a total of 7,722 households and a population of 28,733.
