Sumi Maple Snow Valley is situated in the state-owned Sumigou Forest Farm in the southern part of Huadian City, Jilin Province, 30 kilometers from downtown Huadian. The valley spans a total area of 24,855 hectares and boasts diverse natural vegetation, numerous trees, and abundant ecological resources. The vast landscape—ranging over 800 meters in elevation from low to high altitudes—forms a distinctive flora. Its intact and superior natural environment is a treasured asset of Maple Snow Valley. The scenery here is uniquely beautiful: in spring, mountain flowers bloom in profusion; in summer, the mountains are lush and waters are clear; in autumn, red leaves cover the hills; and in winter, everything is blanketed in silvery white. With different views in every season and breathtaking landscapes at all times, it’s a picturesque haven year-round.

∷ The terrain of Changqian Valley is high in the southeast and northwest, low in the middle, and surrounded by mountains on all sides. The main scenic spots include Golden Turtle Kang, Golden Turtle Rock, Golden Stream Garden, Golden Mushroom Garden, Birch Forest Garden, Yousong Summit, and Chicken Claw Summit. In 2005, prehistoric stone carvings covering an area of 300 square meters were discovered on the slopes of Sumi Maple Snow Valley, which provincial cultural relics experts preliminarily identified as a prehistoric stone carving cluster.

Within the scenic area, ten folk houses with Korean ethnic characteristics form the Danfeng White Snow Mountain Village Resort, making it a great destination for leisure and vacation.
