Baishan Power Station

Baishan Power Station: It is the largest underground green hydropower station in Asia, with an average annual power generation of 2.36 billion kWh, connected to the Northeast Power Grid via 220 kV transmission lines. The river-blocking dam is a single-curvature, three-centered circular gravity arch dam, measuring 676.5 meters in length and 149.5 meters in height. In 1985, Party and state leaders visited the site and inscribed the words: “Baishan Hydropower Ranks First Under Heaven.”
