Located in Xihuangshan Village, Hengdaohezi Township, Huadian. The types of burials found at this cemetery were discovered in Jilin Province for the first time and are of great significance archaeologically. Bronze short swords, as burial objects from the bronze culture of northern China, were previously mainly found in Liaoning Province, northern Hebei Province, and eastern Inner Mongolia, but were rarely discovered in Jilin. The concentration of bronze short swords unearthed at the Xihuangshan burial site provides highly valuable material for further study on the distribution, evolution, dating, and the different ancient ethnic groups that used them in northern China, especially the northeastern region. It also offers important physical evidence for researching the history of the ethnic minorities in China’s northeast and their interactions with the Central Plains culture.

Hengdaohezi Township: Hengdaohezi Township is located 42 kilometers north of Huadian City. The terrain is higher in the northwest and lower in the southeast, surrounded by mountains. Its southern border is adjacent to Yushuqiaozhi Town, the north is bordered by Changzhen, the east neighbors Jinsha Township, and the west adjoins Badaohezi Town. To the northwest, crossing Qingling, lies Beidahu Town of Yongji County. The Huadian–Hengdao–Changshan Highway runs from southwest to northeast through the township (passing through Wenhua Village, Hengdaohezi Village, and Huangshan Village).
