The Zhanjiangpu Tomb Cluster is located on a sand dune running from southeast to northwest. In May 1979, the Jilin Provincial Cultural Relics Team conducted a clearance of this ancient tomb. The tomb opening was only 0.2 meters deep, being a rectangular vertical earthen pit tomb without any coffin or outer burial container. Inside the tomb, four human skeletons were aligned from east to west, all belonging to adults, with heads facing northwest and bodies lying supine in extended positions. The burial included domestic animals such as horses, cattle, and sheep. Funeral objects comprised 378 items including pottery, gold earrings, bead ornaments, bronze plaque ornaments, bronze bells, whistling arrows, large and small bronze bubbles, Wuzhu coins, small bronze tripods, and gold horse plaque ornaments. These tombs date back to the middle to late Western Han Dynasty.
