The Xishanwanzi Site is an archaeological site where artifacts from both the Neolithic and Bronze Ages coexist. Most of the relics are exposed in a large gully on the northwest slope of the mound, surrounded by forest belts. The relics mainly consist of pottery fragments accompanied by stone tools. This site provides important clues and physical evidence for studying the types of Neolithic and Bronze Age cultures in Shuangliao City and their relationship with those in southern and northern Liaoning.
