Introduction: The Qingshan Valley Scenic Area is located in the northern mountainous region of Kuandian County, southeastern Liaoning, covering an area of approximately 127.4 square kilometers. The three major scenic zones — “Qingshan Lake,” “Feipu Gully,” and “Hutanggou” — blend seamlessly to form a vast natural tapestry.

Traveling 8 kilometers west from “Feipu Gully” leads into the “Hutanggou” scenic area, where visitors feel as though they have entered a pristine wilderness. Amid the serene valleys are the “Echoing Stream,” the unique “Black Bear Gazing at the Moon Rock,” the meandering “Nine-Bend Heavenly Water,” the “Tiger Roar Waterfall,” the “Fairy Maiden Waterfall,” the “Black Dragon Spring,” and the famously treacherous “Tiger’s Back” and “Tiger’s Den.” The late Emperor Puyi’s younger brother, Pujie, was particularly enamored with Hutanggou and inscribed the words “Secluded Realm of Hutanggou.”
