Pushihe Forest Park covers a total area of 97.79 square kilometers, stretching approximately 12 kilometers from north to south and about 10 kilometers from east to west. The arable land within its jurisdiction amounts to around 7,000 mu, with an additional 700-plus mu of unregistered cultivated land. The terrain is higher in the west and north, and lower in the east and south, with the lowest elevation at 286.5 meters and the highest peak, Heshangmao Mountain, reaching 1,194.7 meters. The Pushihe River meanders through the forest park, flanked by high mountains and deep valleys dotted with jagged peaks. The mountains are covered with lush forests, with a total forested area of 4,318.7 hectares and a forest coverage rate of over 90%, storing a total timber volume of 268,000 cubic meters. The area experiences distinct seasons, with frequent southeast winds and humid, rainy summers, while winters bring strong northeast winds and severe cold during cold fronts. Spring and autumn are cool and pleasant. The region enjoys 250 to 280 days of sunshine annually, a frost-free period of 150 to 160 days, and annual precipitation ranging from 700 to 900 millimeters.

Due to its relatively isolated natural environment, Pushihe Forest Park showcases abundant flora and fauna, including many rare and endangered species. It serves as a world of animals, a paradise for birds, and a kingdom of plants. Its rich biodiversity forms a vast genetic repository, providing an excellent site for scientific research on topics such as paleogeology and paleobiology.
