The yellow body and trumpet-shaped emblem are unique to Postal Buses. The Postal Bus network covers 1.5 times the area of the railway network. Currently, around 2,000 Postal Buses operate between 400 train stations and over 1,700 villages. One of the most appealing features of the Postal Bus is that it often passes through steep mountain peaks or valleys, offering stunning views along the way. If you have a Swiss STS travel pass, it can be used on all Postal Bus routes, although additional fees are required and reservations may be needed for certain routes such as mountain crossings (please check the timetable). In addition to fixed routes, the service also provides fully guided tours for spontaneous travelers or group car rentals.

There are 7 fixed-line express Postal Bus services: the Julier Route Express from Chur to St. Moritz; the Palm Express from St. Moritz to Lugano; the Napoleon Route Express from Domodossola to Saas-Fee; the Ticino Route Express from Obwalden to Andermatt; the Romantic Route Express from Andermatt to Grindelwald; the Historic Route Express from Flühen to Linthal; and the San Bernardino Express from Chur to Bellinzona.

Postal Buses operate 1,995 vehicles of various models and specifications, providing fixed tours across Switzerland for both groups and independent travelers, as well as specially designed sightseeing services and interest-specific routes, including hotel arrangements, transportation, tours, and activity planning.
