Triana
Introduction In Spanish, Triana is "Triana". The root "tri" means "three", and "ana" refers to a river. This word indicates the confluence of three rivers. Another theory suggests that "Triana" was the name of a Roman emperor. Legend has it that this area was developed by him, hence it was named after him. Triana is the birthplace of bullfighting and has produced many notable historical figures. Columbus was born here, and many traditional folk songs of Andalusia also originated in this area.
