Yellowknife, also translated as "Yellowknife Town," is located about 400 kilometers south of the Arctic Circle, on the shores of Great Slave Lake, and is the capital and largest city of Canada's Northwest Territories. Unlike other cities, this city can be described as a polar city. Though extremely cold, nature has endowed it with another kind of charm—auroras.
