Joy Cove Park is located in the southern part of Halifax, Canada. Established in 1866 and covering an area of 190 acres, it is a large forest park with complete recreational facilities, making it the top choice for Halifax residents to go on outings.

Composed of dense forests, sprawling beaches, winding walking trails, serene picnic areas, and uniquely styled restaurants, Joy Cove Park is an ideal destination for leisure and entertainment. The park retains WWII-era gun batteries, as well as well-preserved 18th-century circular stone forts that have long been a critical part of Halifax’s external defense system.
