Introduction

The Royal London Wax Museum was established in 1924 and houses over 300 wax figures, essentially a miniature version of the London Wax Museum. The museum displays life-sized celebrity wax figures arranged by various themes, incredibly lifelike.

Upon entering the museum, the first thing you see is a wax figure of Queen Elizabeth II wearing a crown and holding a scepter, seated regally, with other members of the royal family lined up in a row. In addition to current members of the British royal family, historical figures such as Queen Victoria and Mary, Queen of Scots, are also displayed here in vivid detail. Furthermore, wax figures of famous personalities from modern history are also on exhibit, including U.S. Presidents Roosevelt, Lincoln, and Clinton, as well as British Prime Minister Churchill. Among the most popular exhibits with children are fairy tale characters that seem to step out of stories, such as Pinocchio and Alice in Wonderland.    Transportation: Bus #5, 27, 28, 30, 31
